The owners of this architecturally designed home wanted a natural, minimal, modern look, so a nil stone exposure matte mechanically polished concrete floor was the perfect choice inside, with a matching nil exposure honed matte finish carried through outside. We ground and polished the slab to a low maintenance surface that ties the staircase, joinery and full height glazing together over one continuous floor and keeps the open plan living bright and open.
