Our Story

Specialists in One Thing

OzGrind started in 2011 with a simple idea: do one thing properly. We are not a general builder or a paving crew that polishes on the side. Concrete is all we do, every day, and that focus shows in the floors we hand over.

From a small local operation we have grown into one of Queensland's most established concrete flooring teams, finishing more than 5,000 floors for homes, builders, architects and businesses across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and regional Queensland. We are still family-run, and we still treat every floor like it is going in our own home.

Every Concrete Finish

We grind, polish, hone and seal. We do not pour or lay concrete, we finish it, and we offer the full range of finishes so we can recommend what genuinely suits your floor.

Mechanically Polished Concrete

Ground, densified and polished to a matte, satin or high-gloss sheen.

Grind & Seal

Ground back then sealed with a topical coating for a cost-effective finish.

Honed Concrete

A matte, low-sheen finish, ideal for outdoor and high-grip areas.

Epoxy Flooring

Tough, seamless coatings for garages, warehouses and industrial floors.

Concrete Grinding & Prep

Surface preparation, levelling and coating removal before any finish.

Surface Polish

A light polish and seal for larger commercial and industrial floors, an even, cost-effective sheen with no deep grind.

Hybrid Concrete Flooring

A durable, topically sealed floor built for flood-prone and high-moisture ground floors.

Microcement / Overlay

A thin, hand-trowelled cement topping for slabs that cannot be polished.

Architectural Burnished

A hand-trowelled decorative finish with soft movement, surface polished and sealed.

The People Behind Your Floor

Every OzGrind floor is finished by trained tradespeople and backed by a dedicated office team. Our people are trained on quality and professionalism, and they take real pride in the work they leave behind, because a floor lasts for decades and it carries our name.

Integrity matters to us, and so does honesty. We tell you what a floor can and cannot do, recommend the finish that genuinely suits your slab and your budget, and stand behind the result. No overpromising and no cutting corners, just careful preparation, clean work on site and a finish we are proud to sign off.
