This disclaimer outlines some of the issues that may arise where there is high moisture content in your concrete slab. High moisture can come from a range of underlying or external factors, including but not limited to the plumbing and drainage of your home. Before we proceed, we need you to understand what you may see and what it means for the finished floor.
Damp or wet patches appearing on the slab during or after grinding.
A white, powdery substance drawn to the surface as moisture moves through the slab.
Moisture pressure lifting or separating a topical sealer or coating from the slab.
A cloudy, milky look caused by water becoming trapped under a topical coating.
Pressure from moisture beneath the slab pushing grout or filler up and out of joints and holes.
