Static: what the floor does about it

Is polished concrete anti-static?

It is static-dissipative. Densifying the slab produces a surface that dissipates static rather than holding it, which helps protect sensitive equipment. For a certified ESD rating you would specify a tested system like Superfloor.

Do you provide an ESD certificate?

With the certified Superfloor system, yes. Standard mechanically polished concrete is the same floor in build terms but is not supplied with a formal certificate. We will match whatever your compliance sign-off requires.

Will the floor create dust around our equipment?
